We at Balsam and Blush Photography understand the importance of silver frame-worthy photos as well as all of the natural moments in between. And we think you deserve it all.
Courtney, Heather and Molly lead photographers who will capture your love story beautifully and authentically. We are dedicated to caring for you on your wedding day and providing images that (like your love story), will stand the test of time. Courtney, Heather and Molly were hand-picked by me (owner and principal photographer, Kelly) to join Balsam and Blush because they strongly share these values. The best part? Their passion and sole focus is on shooting weddings (and they are really, REALLY good at it)!

Our wedding albums are crafted by hand with love in every stitch. Printed on archival-quality photographic paper, the “flush mount” style means your album (and images) lay flat with tight creases and no gutter, so you don’t lose any part of the photos to cutting or standard press folding. Engagement Sessions
While we don’t require wedding clients to do an engagement session with us, we’re big fans of these shoots for a few reasons. First, they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It takes time to warm up to being photographed and understand how we’ll guide you. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits, which is why we’ve found that wedding day portraits sometimes turn out better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.
Second, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and can even include pets!). While they’re great for save the dates and adorning your wedding website, you can take engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Your wedding will be photographed by Balsam and Blush Photography lead Courtney, Heather, or Molly. They are experienced lead photographers with a passion for both beautiful portraits and stunning details. They’re familiar with all the details and intricacies of a wedding day, and being part of Balsam and Blush means they can focus on being awesome photographers instead of worrying about running a business on their own; this way, we all get to be part of a team, excited about providing couples with a personal, encouraging, creative photography experience.

HOW ARE OUR WEDDING DAY IMAGES STORED AND PROTECTED?
We take our jobs as your wedding documentarians very seriously. Every every single image is recorded to TWO memory cards at the same time, so there’s an automatic backup on the spot! After the wedding, all memory cards are loaded onto a redundancy hard drive with an additional backup to ensure we’re not taking any risks with your priceless memories. Your edited image gallery, once delivered, is active for a minimum of three years, so you don’t have to worry about rushing to download your images, either! We want you to be able to access your photos for as long as you need.

WE'RE READY TO RESERVE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING! WHAT'S NEXT?
To book us for your wedding date, we require a 25% retainer along with a contract signed by both partners getting married. The booking process is online and super simple, and we accept all forms of payment (yes, even credit card, and no, we don't charge a processing fee!). Once we receive these two things from you, you're officially on our calendar! We can't wait to help you celebrate the start of your marriage!
